Conservationist Assistant (Student Summer Employment)
Job Term: 7 weeks (June 25 - August 10, 2012)
Location: Sault Ste. Marie
Salary: $10.25 per hour

The Sault Ste. Marie Region Conservation Authority (SSMRCA) has been allocated two Summer Employment Opportunity positions for 2012 through the Ministry of Natural Resources Summer Experience Program.
This fully funded program provides seven week of employment to two successful student applicants assisting CA staff working outdoors on maintenance and trail repairs.
These positions are available to full time students or recent graduates between the ages of 16 and 25 years old.

Applications will be accepted until June 1, 2012. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
Applicants must meet ALL eligibility criteria:
- All summer jobs require "student" status. A student is defined as someone currently enrolled in secondary, or post-secondary institutions or within six months of graduation (e.g. if a student graduated in Dec. 2011, they could apply for an OPS summer student position up until June 2012).
- Students must be between 16 to 25 years old on the first day of employment;
- Students must be residents of Ontario.
- Students must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
